Which of these colleges is the best and why.

Overall, most people would rank them as Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA and UC Davis. All are really good schools; Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA are generally considered world-class. Stanford, being a private school, has more resources than the others, but Berkeley is considered probably the best public university in the country, with UCLA not far behind. UC Davis is a little less comprehensively strong; for example, it doesn't have a major medical center, but it is probably one of the best in the world for subject matters related to agriculture.

Depends on the subject. Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, Davis in order from top to bottom in terms of overall academic reputation. There are some departments at Berkeley and even at UCLA that are tops out of those 4. Davis is tops in agriculture related topics, but otherwise not nearly as strong as the other three.

all of them, great staff, education programs, All r top Medical Schools and Law schools.
