The United States because it is not controlled by the people anymore and it has the ability to destroy the entire world. Imagine if some lunatic gets in power and unleashes our nuclear arsenal.

I find it interesting that people choose Iran. The media has done a very good job in preparing the American people for our pending invasion of Iran.

No particular country. More-so ideology. Every country has a right to pursue strong economies, and strong national defense. This is normal and never frightens me. There is room for all nations to share in a growing economy.
Growing up in Chicago, one can not waste time dreading what others may attempt. One can only prepare themselves to avoid, prevent, or address the issue.
Extremists concern me. Extremest abroad and extremists here at home. They are the sparks that ignite the powder kegs of war, hate, and dissent. These are the pawns who are easily manipulated to hate and fear others. This, in turn, develops into bigotry and war.

Its a draw at this time. In one corner there is Pakistan, which has nuclear bombs and a lot of the bunch that gave us the Taliban.
In the other corner there is the United States of America, which has nuclear bombs and a lot of the bunch that gave us the current war in Iraq and are now looking at Iran.
I am leaning toward the latter threat being the worst because Bush is really worried about his legacy. It's a race to 20 Jan 2009. Wanna bet?

Probably a tie between Russia and China. These two countries have the ability to stir up more trouble for us than any other. Russia, in the middle east and China in Asia. Russia, with it's oil reserves stands to benefit the most in a middle eastern conflict. China could help with Iran and N.Korea but won't because as long as we are occupied there, they think we won't notice what they're doing

China has the most power over us because of how much we owe them. Saudi Arabia because thats where the terrorists and foreign fighters in Iraq predominately come from.

I am most scared of Iran since they have the finances to invest in developing a nuclear arsenal and military force to not only cause major problems in the Middle East but also in the shipping lanes for oil which for decades we will be dependent on unless we are allowed to drill in the Arctic and in the oceans that surround us.

I am not scared of any country. However, I am concerned about Iran. Here is a country whose seemingly main concern since 1979 is the destruction of the West. Look at its current leader Adolph Ahmadinejad. He has called for the destruction of Israel how many times? I forget. The man is a dangerous megalomaniac threat. This man is in need of a serious comeuppance. I hope it happens without an equally serious loss of life.

Iran was the first to pop in my head, but I think I'm going to have to go with Russia. Putin is one slimy, sneaky SOB.
Russian people are great, though - we have a fairly large Russian community, and I like the people.
Saudi Arabia, too - their monarchy is desperate enough to save their own butts that they'd cheerfully sell the rest of the world down the river.
But I wouldn't say I'm scared of them - just concerned.
