I think so because even though he did something horrible, everybody in America gets a 2nd chance, why not Vick? I'm not saying what he did is right(IT'S HORRIBLE!)and in no means do I support dog-fighting, however Vick should serve his time in jail, and then the NFL should let him keep playing. I'm not meaning to offend anybody who thinks Vick should be kicked out of the NFL, but this is just my personal opinion. Also, race has nothing to do with this so can we please stop playing the race card?

So, do you think Vick deserves a 2nd chance?

Thank You for answering and God Bless.

Once he pays his debt to society, he should be allowed to play in the NFL again.

Does Vick deserve another chance.......The dogs he injured/maimed/killed are not getting one and that is the passionate response to your question...No....On the other hand it seems that most people in this country always do get another chance regardless of their missdeeds and he may get one as well...All those examples you listed does not mandate that the next guy ( in this case Vick) get one necessarily...Tow wrongs do not make a right. It will be up to the NFL owner himslef to decide if He wants to take another chance on tis guy..It will be vvery very rough political waters to navigate for sure to whatever team gives this guy another shot at the NFL...Nothing here about his ability to play it is all about his public persona...Very much a real part of the deal and there are many other candidates that can perfomr in his place and each year more andmore untainted goods coming out of college..So why will a NFL team risk all that bad press. TIme will tell

To be honest and sincere like I believe you are if he gets an 18 month sentence that will keep him out of the NFL for 2 years. I really do not think that after sitting out that long he could make a comeback. Still let him have the chance.

If it was a one-time issue, I would say yes, but Vick was a seven year crime wave! Add to that the Ron Mexico, flipping of fans, the water bottle, smoking dope on a youtube video- this is a guy who does not ever again deserve to be a role model for kids. Vick needs to get out of jail and use his millions to find a decent life away from football and all his old criminal buddies.

I think Michael Vick should get a second chance. He is a great quarterback and he should get back on the field after this whole dog situation.

I would never deny anyone a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance. I've certainly been given them in my life. I really hope he meant it when he said he had to grow up, and i hope he can turn it around as a person, and then as a football player. (And no, I'm not Falcons fan)

Needs at least a year suspension once he's out of jail. Don't know if any team will want him. No sponsor is going to touch him with a 10 foot pole.

Michael Vick isn't a bad dude. He's just a VERY, VERY, VERY stupid dude. He's gotten enough second chances.

No!!! This jerk has been playing "big-headed super-athlete, screw all you peasants" most of his life. It's nice to see him get kicked in the b****. Let him get out and EARN a living like the rest of us. If that makes me a"hater" so be it.

Of course he deserves a second chance; we are all human, and all make mistakes. People want to hang him on the court house lawn...he hasn't even threatened a human. His crime is disgusting, but c'mon, people get less criticism for aggravated assault. Give the man a break...let him who is perfect cast the first stone.
