I jusy picked up a used Polaris Pro X 440, liquid cooled sled, not the cheesey fan. The person i got it from dosn't know much about it and i cannot find out if i should be running 108 octance that is unleaded or if running 116 octane leaded would be a better choice. also anything else anyone knows about this sled would be helpfull.

comes from the factory completely race preped, says all over it to only run at least 110 octane, talked to one guy and he blew his up in only a few miles on pump gas.

As an 04, it would be designed to run on unleaded and unless it has had motor mods to be an extreme race engine, normal premium unleaded should be fine.

Check with a Polaris dealer for their recommendation and get an owners manual, that'll tell you everything you need to know about your sled.

This is what I did to mine:
ripsaw track with 96 stud boy studs
fox clicker shocks front and rear

This sled runs on 110 octane race fuel making this thing a rocket

Chrome winshield
2" rizer bars

plastic skin
10" carbids
