The Government in general makes me less proud by the day...
It's not about Dem vs. Rep. or Lib vs. Con....It's about power brokers and their serfdom.... When you get the blinders off and quit looking at this as "The Evil Cons or Rep or Evil Dems and Liberals" and realize that the upper echelon, Right, Left, whatever, isn't out for your best interests...Let me know...

I am proud to be an American regardless of who is President. Yes, I am proud of the Bush administration, even though I don't agree with everything coming out of there. I wish his actions against terrorism and the criminals trying to bring down Iraq and Iran were stronger, and I wish he were more "open" to make it harder for illegal aliens in this country.
The Bush administration does not lower my pride in being an American, however, there are those in Congress who make me ashamed to be a citizen of the same country. People like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Charles Schummer, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and the list is a lot longer. These people are the ones promoting the "Bush lied " theme, when in fact, these people have changed there stand and statements more than I have changed my underwear the last 5 years.
When consideration was being given to an attack on the Taliban, and Saddam, Clinton and Kerry were among the backers. They were working with the same information that Bush had. Point is, if Bush lied, they all lied. The liberal democrats in both houses of Congress have done all they can to discredit President Bush, this country, and the military, and the liberal media has been a part.
I AM VERY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN, AND A VETERAN! I am not very proud of some in Congress and the Senate.

Always proud to be an American regardless of who is in the government. Only thing that bothers me is the how ungrateful people are for the sacrifices of veterans and their families.

No. In fact it's the only time in my life I've been ashamed to be an American. I've disagreed with certain policies before, but this administration has made so many people around the world hate us that it's truly tragic. I wonder how many years it will take after Bush is gone to set the country right.

With all the opportunity for deception of the citizenry; what was accepted as honest representative democracy has mutated into an expectation of cliquish politicians engaging in a class war. Not proud. Patriotism and liberty implies dissent, so judge me not. It is my country too.

It make me sad that he and what he has done makes America look like the bully of the world. It make me sad that many Americans are not tole rent of each other and voted for this moron just to keep gay people from getting married. I will always be proud to be an American but things need to change in a big way.

The Bush Administration makes me want to move to Canada and George Bush is a perfect example of why we should never elect a "C" Student.
