I know it has something to do with math. But what does it have to do with Science?

to me, then, his works sometimes show how there's 'no beginning and no end' to more than we realize... eg.. the Universe.....

If you study M.C. Escher's paintings carefully, you will notice that almost all of them have themes relating to biology, structural engineering, hydraulic engineering, or some related field. In most cases he is using scientific principles to fantasize impossible things, but he is, in his way, always true to science.

And, as you mention, he is a consummate student of geometry and computational methods.

Some of his prints show curved surfaces (non-euclidian geometry) that is very important in physics, like relativity
