I'm excited about Fred. I am supporting him or Huckabee if either can really make a run for the primary. Those that think its irrelevant that we have some new faces and fresh ideas being injected into the election are bitter little trolls who have a fear of change from the status quot. We need some more good honest Americans who have not spent there life trying to garner favor with the rich and gathering unquestionable authority over their fellow citizens.Fred is definitely in the "Those who intend to serve column" and I respect that in a political candidate more than anything.

Thompson is too old, too tired, too used to the way things were done half a century ago. What does he bring to the table? nothing.
Then again, before Bush Sr. was elected I didn't think he had a chance, so I could be wrong here as well.

Great. Sould have done it two months ago. Now he is behind in campaign contributions, being out there, etc. He's a good candidate but against Hilliary he would get squashed. Still if it was him or sombody esle I would vote for him.

It is. Fred Thompson will reckon that a lobbyist hack such as himself has no chance to win public support.

We'll see. Once he throws his hat into the ring is when the magnifying glass will come out.
