Ok, slowly but surely...I found the web-site for this great information.
In searching I found information about the 1600's and 1700's and more. I find this sort of information very interesting. I hope you do too.

Wow, I'm surprised they didn't die of food poisoning!

I love the site with famous firsts, and have added it to my favourites list so I can explore it at my leisure later. Thank you for finding that one.

You might find this site fascinating. It goes into AMAZING detail. I also have this one on my favourites list....

I have a library here at the house of books I've collected for over 50 years. So there is a slew of info here. On days when I'm lazy I look it up on the computer, but don't keep a log. I probably should, but I just don't.
And I never pose a question, that I don't know myself, that would be out of character for me.

You need to be a lot more specific with your question. I realize you're trying to do research on the 16th century (1500's), but I don't understand what you're looking for in particular. The circumstances, historical almanac, social, economy, religion, etc., it all changes with which part of the world you are looking at. You could write endless books about what happened in the 16th century, so what area in the world and what in particular do you want to know about?
