All it "proves" is that if homosexuality weren't given such a bad rap by the theocrats in this country, maybe--just maybe--he wouldn't have felt the need to solicit anonymous sex in a bathroom. If his party didn't have a plank to try to codify discrimination in the Constitution by banning same-sex marriage and all the other homophobic crap they've pulled, maybe he wouldn't have dragged an unfortunate woman into a sham marriage. Maybe if people were more accepting of homosexuality and didn't shame people who are gay, he would have felt he could have a relationship with a man instead.
What's unnatural is forcing gay men and lesbians into loveless marriages so they conform to some societal garbage of how things should be.

How does his resignation prove homosexuality is unnatural? His status as a politician has nothing to do with the nature of homosexuality, quite frankly.

No. All it 'proves' is that our elected public officials are a privileged gang of thugs, cretins, perverts, pedophiles, wife-beaters, prescription-pill poppers, cross dressers, womanizers, psychopathic liars, cheats, frauds, psychotics, alcoholics, and other assorted criminal types - maybe even a murderer or two.
Regardless of sexual persuasion, religious affiliation, or political bent, members of Congress were elected by the people to represent the people. These so-called 'honorable' public servants should be expected to live their lives to a higher standard instead of some kind of low life that crawled out from under a rock.
As Keith Preston said: "Democracy: an institution in which the 'whole' is equal to the 'scum' of its parts."
Every single one of our elected or appointed politicians and bureaucrats must be held to a higher standard, lead exemplary lives, and set the example for the culture and social structure of our people. It's too bad so few of them do. -RKO- 09/01/07

No, it doesn't prove homosexuality is unnatural. His resignation proves that hypocrisy is unnatural. He voted against the protection of gay's in regards to hate crimes and gay marriage yet he engages in homosexual activity.
