of many restrictions on personal behavior?

Typical Lib wants to control every aspect of our lives, you gotta love her........

I think it was Bills walking humidor, Monica, that has turned her against smoking. I don't believe she will ban it out right, she loves the tax money that comes from smokers and if she bans it she can't collect taxes on black market smokes.

P.S. I don't smoke never have, never will but if I don't speak up now who will speak up when she comes to take my rights away

Well, if this happens it will be the next liberty taken away. I'm sure all the non-smokers are cheering but what they don't know is they will be next. Maybe they are overweight....and they won't be able to buy a donut. Or they don't exercise....and they will be required to join a gym. One thing for sure....if that does happen then we ALL will be paying more taxes. There are a ton of taxes on cigarettes that are used for all kinds of social programs. If they make sure it is most difficult for anyone to smoke and people quit, there will be less tax collected. Then they will raise all of our taxes because we sure wouldn't want to lessen any services to those illegal aliens or the chronically lazy.

We need to ban her .
Can you imagine the black market for smokes in this country . SOON after a public ban will come the sale of tobacco products and hen whats next alcohol again .

Prohabitions never work .
Education is the key and then tolerance of others who may choose to smoke or drink regardless of the side effects .

After all ,working on a roof is more dangerous then being a Cop but no one thinks roofers deserve better pay because of the dangerous working conditions . Oil rig workers and miners all have dangerous Jobs as well as crab fishermen ,and fishing in general . More roadside construction workers are killed each year then police and firemen combined . Yet we never hear about the dangers of becoming a construction worker .
Its my life and I will smoke , drink, do drugs ,and have sex with and anyone and anyplace I want . No one or no law should stand in the way of this .

If you do not like it then close the curtains and stay in your house .

uno I know cigarettes are addictive every buddy smokes in other places where they are not a big area to have other ppl smoke or non smokers 2 be in the same place when I was in job core a lot of these people who were on buses smoked it made me sick and gave me bad headaches cause every one was doing it I had to stick my head out and try to breath the clean air

its hard to be a non smoker at times but me I know I did the same smoked too when I got a little older I believe ppl should
have the right to smoke with in others that are in a room to them to smoke but the manufactures put chemicals in every Cigarette as well when ppl smoked them and it makes the non smoker sick when I smoked I wud go out doors

people should have the free will to smoke like ppl should have the right to drink all in moderation

Did any of you actually listen to what she said?

She said it would be a good day for America, her personal view.. I happen to agree with her.

BUT...

She said a national ban on smoking was impractical because of local zoning laws, but said it's possible to further limit it by increasing taxes and prices for cigarettes.

"We'll eventually get there," she said. "We're lowering the rate of smoking now, and I think over the next decade we'll really push it way down."

I have 3 family members who have lung cancer due to smoking.

I don't have a problem in the world taxing the heck out of it if it will reduce the number of people smoking.

She's doing what now???

What kind of public places?

As a smoker...I don't mind not smoking in restaurants, the mall, you know...indoor public places...

And as for EVERY aspect of our lives...If they want to do something IMPORTANT....How about they go after the alcohol business like they're going after tobacco? How many people have you killed while smoking and driving?

Not to worry. If shes elected no one will be able to afford to smoke because of the tax increases she has planned.

I certainly don't agree with this idea. Folks should have a right to smoke.

But let's lose the typical Lib stuff...Con's are trying to control other aspects of our lives too...both sides need to just sit down and mind their own business.

Wait till she gets her hands on your health care.
You will eat, drink,do and think, only in the party approved manner or your health care will be cut off.

I thought it was Edwards that was trying to get that done. I agree though that something needs to be done to get reps to realize that we are adults and able to make our own decisions (right or wrong) for ourselves.
