not choose best answer? I like to give advice if the question appeals to me, and if I believe what I have to say can help, but I find that level 1 & 2 posters are less likely to choose a best answer. Could be that they are new to the game and just don't consider it. What do you think?

I basically care about the question and I initially look at the questions posted by those on my "contact" list. I can't answer them all, but I do look through the posted questions several times a day. I am at the highest level and have never asked a question, hence I give props to anyone who takes the time to post a question that has merit.

No, I answer the ones that seem interesting. I could care less about their level or their avatars.

i do check levels but it is not my determining factor in picking a good answer

I think what I look at more are the avatars. I don't like the gray ones as much.
