No, not at all! I knew what my parents expected of me and I did a good job of obeying them. Another thing that helped me was the fact that I stayed to myself. I didn't have anyone in my inner circle to influence me to do anything bad. Naturally, I strived to be a good girl anyway and I still do to this day! I want to be looked at as a role model for my younger family members. I just need to come out of my shell and talk to people more! I have very poor people skills!

When I was younger it was extremely hard not to go with the flow. As I am now so close to 40 it is just a matter of weeks I can say the older I get the confident I become and peer pressure is not a problem.
Peace.

Peer pressure is nothing more than the opinions of your friends, there is always a few who try to dominate a group, they want to be the leaders, young people who have the ability to use common sense will not be swayed in the wrong direction by those who apply pressure to conform to their way of thinking. Your sense of right and wrong will determine whether or not you will succeed in life.

No. If they don't respect your choices then it is a good sign you're hanging out with the wrong "friends".
Giving in to peer pressure is a sign of immaturity.

But if it's like: "Oh you should totally buy that shirt, it will look great on you!" and i think it might not look so great on me, i'd probably just buy the shirt anyway.
This makes sense right? lol

it is not your "accountability" to tell your dad and mom, despite the fact that it would particular sense great in case you probably did. It builds your dating with mom and pop with greater valuable beginning place. project is... you are able to like your pals, yet in case you have not have been given extremely reliable will to not supply in to the rigidity of eating or the like, then you definitely shouldn't dangle out with them. extremely, no be counted in case you like them or not won't be the difficulty. the difficulty it extremely is which you at the instant are not surrounded by people who very own sturdy impression. that is in no way sturdy. i'm not discriminating against little ones from complicated upbringings, even people from sturdy families stray. yet you look to have a sturdy experience of your very own morality and upbringing, so it would be suitable in case you are able to manage the rigidity, despite the fact that that is in no way undemanding. What you additionally can do is attempt to be the solid impression and draw them remote from being sufferers of their very own peer rigidity and vices. that is even harder than purely asserting "no" to them on a similar time as nevertheless spectacular out with them. you're 13, and whether you sense such as you're slightly a grown up, that could be a tough activity (yet not impossible). The worst case could be purely as you concept; to stop spectacular with this actual team of acquaintances and make new ones. additionally, that is unlike your dad and mom have the desire to make you unhappy, do not overlook. submit to in suggestions, this rigidity is already frightening you. it is not sturdy, and it (peer rigidity into such vices) isn't a fabricated from sturdy friendship. shop that for the period of suggestions. lower back to the beginning up, i could prefer to assert which you will not basically like the outcomes in any respect, or perhaps something i've got reported here, yet once you're able to be open approximately this (and maximum issues, if not all) along with your dad and mom, that'd be great. that is extremely as much as you presently, what the next flow would be. Ball's on your court docket.
