Please don't take offense, and with all due respect; isn't SWAGGING pretty much a 1970's thing?
I have one suggestion however,,,though it won't be in large link; lamp or ceiling fan size chain.
Ace Hardware and perhaps HD or Lowes, sells a small looped link chain in copper. If you took off one link and flattened it; the link might look similar to a pair of John Lennons Sun glasses. It's flat links, not round, shaped into links, and is sold in galvanized, mill finish, etc. Copper in that style is usually readily available.
Coated would likely be like Faux brass, and over time, subject to abuses. Solid Copper in it's Strength, be at the mercy of the weight applied in the hanging. There may be something like 10 or 8 gauge copper chain link available, and certainly a search in the WWW would help. Price might be a factor as well?

Try and spray paint your chain with a copper coat paint, Nobody will know the difference and it will save you a fortune. if you want, check with a auto body shop for a chrome shop in the area that can put a real copper coat on the chain, and make sure you get the right kind of chain, like iron or galvanized.
