This is how I would do it. Look at the chart below:
A --> B(across the river)
goose A --> B
corn A--->B, then pick up goose
goose B-->A, then pick up fox
fox A-->B
goose A -->B

First, she should take the goose across the river and leave it there. Then, she should take the bag of corn across the river, and bring back the goose. Next, the farmer should take the fox across the river and leave it there. Finally, she should take the goose across the river, and that way she has transported the fox, the goose, and the bag of corn across the river without leaving the fox alone with the goose or leaving the goose alone with the bag of corn.

We have two river banks: A and B.
1. She takes the goose to bank B.
2. She returns to bank A and takes the fox and leaves it on bank B.
3. She returns to bank A and the goose with her and leaves the goose there and crosses to bank B taking the corn with her.
4. Then she leaves the corn at bank B with the fox and crosses bank A to fetch for the last time the goose.

Why does the goose have to go in a boat? Geese swim! Put the fox in the boat and use a small amount of the corn to entice the goose to swim next to the boat. Drop off the fox, have the goose swim back with the boat. Next pick up the rest of the corn and again have the goose swim. Two trips... easy.
