Well, I'm all for dumping Gary Bettman's sorry butt but you're talking just like him!!! They need to get rid of some of the teams, especially the Florida, Nashville, Texas & Arizona teams and not add more where hockey isn't a way of life like it is in Canada & the Northern USA!! I doubt the Canadians could fill up arenas with that many teams in Canada!!!

Guess I'm plain stupid. First of all, it's not a dictatorship even if you are being sarcastic. The owners are in on it, too.
Your own Make Beliefs are why there aren't any other NHL teams in greater T.O. Wake up and smell the cash registers they do not want to share.
Also, take an Econ 101 course. Victoria? Make me laugh. It can't even support and hold its WHL jr. team...now it has BS ECHL and BCJHL. There's a reason most NHL teams are in strong markets in the U.S.
Look, Betthead may be bad but you're telling me Campbell, Stein or Zeigler were any better? Learn some NHL history there, dude.

Canadian cities: Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Hamilton, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax.
US Cities: New York, Detroit, Boston, Chicago (MUST have all original six cities), Minnesota, Buffalo, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Colorado, Seattle.
Have two divisions in each conference (Canadian East, Canadian West, US East, US West). Face everyone in your division 8 times, the other division 4 times, and everyone in the opposite conference twice. 72 games. 8 teams make the playoffs, four in each conference. US champ faces the Canadian champ. Every year is an international battle!
I doubt it is financially feasible, and it's probably not a great idea period, but it would be fun to watch.

And as much as i would like it, Canada will not hae more teams than the U.S.

I will join you in the rebellion under 1 condition.
Eliminate the team in DETROIT (as I hate the Red Wings and I live in Michigan) and then add that team to LA and keep the KINGS (as I have been a Kings fan since 1982).
If you change that I will lead your cause, otherwise forget it.
