Both. Depends on what the missus leaves out for me. I'm not being sexist I just don't know where she keeps that stuff so I tend to just grab whatever is in the shower tray. Today was nice though cos she'd put out some nice new nivea cream bar soap. However there have been days when I have tried to make a lather up in my pubic region with whats left of the badge on a bar of Imperial Leather.

I never use bar soap at all. Don't like the idea of other people using the same bar, then there's the gunge which forms on wet soap which is a breeding ground for bacteria, plus it forms soap scum on bathroom surfaces. For face, hands or body I prefer to use liquid soap or shower gel, etc., (usually in a pump bottle) as it's much better and more convenient.

I tried the liquid, but it doesn't last long enough, and it washes away too early, so i am back to the bar soap. I can decide exactly how much and where I need to soap throughout the shower. It's just more convenient, and when you buy it you don't pay for water to keep it liquid.
