My two favorite non adult cartoons were: Battletech which was a fantastic blend of traditional animation and computer Graphics. The second one was Exo squad; A cartoon that was anmie style(story wise) but drawn weastern style.
My favorite adualt style cartoons are: Family guy and of course the Simpsons. Another great one was Kevinspecer. (see www.kevinspencer.com ) .

MTV'S Daria. All the way. MTV had a pretty descent animation department, with the coolness of their shows making up for what they may have lacked in good graphics. Sure, "Daria" was obnoxious on a few episodes, but overall great show. If you can understand what the hell some of her Daria's wisecracks refer to.
