Depends on the conditions and if they're the same species.

They need a basking lamp for cool days, shelter and access to a garden. Food should be mostly wild weeds - dandelion, sowthistle, clover are best. NO meat or high protein stuff like peas or beans. These are poisonous to tortoises.

You really should find what species they are because some , eg Hermanns like to eat fruit but for east meditteranan species fruit can be harmfull. Also hibernation
requirement can vary between species.

The best website is the tortoise trust www.tortoisetrust.org
which will answer all you questions and more.

Lastly, tortoises are great escapers. Your garden will need to be secure. Good luck.

Well, i thought owning a tortoise was illegal. You may be thinking of a turtle, which lives in water. Oh, and 50 for a tortoise is not that old. They usually live the same age of a human or about a hundred years. Find out what you are being offered, and ask the RSPCA about it.

Well, they aren't hard to take care of. All you have to do is give them food and water in a bowl. It also depends on what kind of tortoises they are.
