Mantids are not poisonous and don't bite. On the contrary, we kept a Carolina mantis, "Missy Mantis" for quite a few months in a terrarium, feeding her crickets. She laid about five egg sacks that hatched this spring! We took her out and let her walk around on us, she was fabulous! They do have wings, so don't be alarmed if she jumps and flies to higher ground. Mantids like to be up where they can see everything!

A praying mantis isn't poisonous because my mom holds them all the time. They usually don't bite but it might if your bothering it. If they do bite I would wash it and put something on it just so you don't get an infection. They eat grasshoppers alive. I have saw one. They live in bushes most of the time but they aren't poisonous!

Preying mantis's are not poisonous. They have no stingers, just legs that are covered in spikes sharp enough to break theskin. but whhenever you get a cut of any kind you should probably wash it, so as not to risk any infection.

No, they aren't poisonous, but they do have powerful mandibles and may hurt you if they bite you.
But be very careful getting yourself in a situation where this can occur...in many places the Praying Mantis is a protected species, and you will get fined or go to jail if you harm one...
