This sticky residue from tape has been on my window for a couple weeks... how do I get it off? What can I use to get it off of plastic, glass, and wood. I tried window cleaner but it didn't work well.
Thanks!

wd40---last owners of this house left masking tape on the front door & it cooked on. I peeled of the top laer & sprayed the glue with wd40--came off really easy

Try "GOO GONE" or "GOOF OFF". Either one of them work excellent. Be careful using them on plastic. Try it on a small scrap first. They may start to dissolve the plastic.

Try lighter fluid or Goof-Off liquid. Put it on with cloth, let it soak, and then rub it off.

Start with alcohol and if that doesn't work, WD-40 will get it right off.. :-)
