the high speed cable is connected but every time i open internet explorer it says page cannot be displayed can somone help?? is there a certin way you have to set it up??

I am in an rv park and i have connected the high speed cable to the laptop and i tried using internet explorer and it says page cannot be displayed

Hi,
Your ISP should have given you an Install disk, so just put the disk in and follow the instructions. Hope this helps you.

Usually everything is automatic but your connection settings would depend on the ISP and the type of connection you have.
If you can check who the ISP is and what kind of hardware (modems etc) you have it would be much easier for people to help you.

theres a cd that comes with the internet just pop the disk in and the internet should work

turn the firewall off and if that does not work, contact your DSL provider for some help.
