8th grade isn't much different than 7th, but 9th is quite a bit harder than 8th.

Ok, I'm an older kid answering this question. Each grade you advance to is going to be harder than the last grade. Each person is different, so for one person, 8th grade might be hard; for another it might be easy. When I was in 8th grade years ago (about 1989), I was at a junior high at the time, which went from grades 7 thru 9. In my case I could of had the option to transfer to high school starting at 9th grade, but I just stayed at my junior high and graduated in the 9th grade from there. For me, 8th grade was not bad..It was the 9th grade that gave me jitters because my goal was to graduate.

i'm in 9 grade. i too feet that way when going to new grades. But i assure u that 8 is quite easy provided that u study regularly and try to understand things - don't try to mug them up. Do concentrate in maths and science. don't take too much of tension - everything will work out well. 8 is great - U have 1 more year of enjoyment. after starting high school, things r going to change but don't worry - live the present moment
Remember study regularly but have some fun also

I started 8th grade 2 weeks ago. For me, it's not a walk in the park but it's not too hard. The homework is a little bit harder but it's just life. It gets easier once you get used to it.

No...8th grade is not hard. If 7th grade was easy for you, then 8th grade should not be a problem. Honestly, i dont think you should be concerned about 8th grade. :-]

If your school system is any good, then each year will be a little harder, but, if you studied and did well the years before, you should be able to complete it without extraordinary problems. However, it does require discipline and daily study time, turning in homework, daily attendance, and making school a priority over other things.

i am in the 8th grade and it is a lot easier than seventh. girls arent so mean and dramatic because they are more comfortable with there selves. teachers give you freedom because they know youre older and not so unfimilar with all the jr high stuff. trust me it is not that hard

it depends on your school.
my school excels in academics,
and they pushed us to get the best
scores possible, and they had a no failure
policy.
when knew kids came to our school,
they found it challenging.
it all depends on what your teacher expect out of you,
and how well you commit to your studies.
