I have a friend who is about to get braces. She had her headshots done last week (w/o the braces), but now she's wondering if she should get some done WITH the braces. Any advice???

In general, would you guys say that the possibility of her finding work would decrease??? She's an actress :-)

If she is going to have braces longterm, then she needs to get some new headshots. Otherwise, no.

If they are Invisalign braces, then she need not bother.

Ok, when you get head shots before you get something that changes the whole look of your face, you are a very stupid idiot. I am sorry but, yes she needs to get head shots taken again because you want something that looks just like you, and if they see you w/out braces and want you for a production and you dont look exactley the same, you could owe the producer some money, if h payed for the plane ticket and what not.

She shouldn't have wasted the money on photos without braces. She should have gotten invisible braces if she was going to continue trying to be an actress.

She should get head shots with braces. If she is going to get them she and everyone else need to get used to them.

Why not wait to see if she needs them. The ones she has may work fine. She can always get them done later if she needs to.

if she is an actress absolutely it will change her look, unless she is going to be a model that keeps her mouth shut.
