Some say money doesn't equal happiness...?
But, doesn't money equal comfortable and stability.
I mean look at not worrying about how to pay your bills, food on the table, decent clothes, and a car to get you back and fourth! Plus the biggie a peace of mind!
I'm not talking about being Trump or Oprah rich .. I mean just decent amount of money to live good and comfy. Though I'd like their fortune to now lol !
What's your take on it?

I agree..money doesn't always keep you fully content but can help. Happiness does come in many forms. I guess stress over bills can make you lose that comfort feeling. Than again because you can pay the bills doesn't mean you may have faults elsewhere in which money can NOT fix. Thnx guys for the input!

Essentially, you're correct.
There's a danger, though, when a person's happiness is dependent on factors outside ones self. One would always have to guide against loss of whatever element is deemed to be the cause of happiness, which would raise that element to the level of an addiction ie. "I would be happy if _______." The problem is, there never seems to be enough "ifs". You're always struggling to find something or someone else to fill that void.
Consider the transient pleasure derived from outside elements. What have you ever obtained that's given you so much happiness, you were moved to say, "Enough. I don't need anything else. I'm finally fulfilled."
Happiness, to me, is a decision. Investing one's emotional stability in anything/anyone that can be lost or taken guarantees you'll remain an emotional cripple. I choose not to let anything outside my being determine my level of happiness.
Though, I won't turn down half a mil if you've got it handy...!

You are right about money buying comfort and stability, but without experiencing true love, happiness will never be a part of our existence. Wealthy people are used a lot by those who are less fortunate financially. You don't have to be filthy rich to be used. I'll take love over money any day of the week! Money is the only thing my husband and I ever fight about. It is the only thing that is missing from our lives. So honey, you are certainly right, it does help make people happy.
To be happy you have to be comfortable. To be comfortable you need money!

That's what they say. But I would like to have alot of money once and just see how happy it makes me. It may not be the money itself that makes you happy, but the things you could do with it that make you happy.

Peace of mind and happiness are 2 different things. Money brings you peace of mind and love and ice cream makes you happy.

to me love and happiness is way more important then money...granted there was a time in my life when my husband and i had a pretty comfy life...didnt have to worry about anything...and you know what...we lost everything in a blink of an eye...it took me losing everything...to realize that love and happiness will get you thru anything...not money!!!

yeah i guess money can equal happieness but to much would be stupid there would be no point in living if u dint have any problems to face b/c u could just by your way out of them

It does to a certain extent once you have it ALL then you need love, no one is truley happy with millions and no one around =0
