LOL....this actually happens you know. There are people from other countries who are not familiar with rock music. They have their own version of pop, usually in their native language. For example, there is Thai Pop. We Americans would not want to hear that!
I met some guys from overseas, who were musicians, and they talked about rock as "crazy music." "It sounds crazy," they said. To them, rock was just the craziest thing!
I would just give them a copy of Elvis Presley's greatest hits. He is the King of Rock n Roll. If the King can't convince them, nobody can.

That's a really hard question to answer. I guess it would depend on what era you were from. So many to chose. Sgt Pepper's, Back in Black, Who's Next, Dark Side of the Moon. But I guess I would give them Zeppelin 4. I wore 2 of them out.
And they all sound better on vinyl than CD.

A compilation of Doo-Wop and 50's/60's oldies. That is the roots of rock, and is the best place to get them started. Then you can move on to the harder stuff of the 70's and 80's before you give them the 90's to current stuff.
