when i went to school on friday my teacher gave me an assignment. the assignment was to make a bridge using only 3 sheets of paper and it has to support a big text book on top of it. the bridge has to be 3 inches wide and 8 inches long. i really need help so please answer this question

You should fold the papers like columns then place them in the position of a triangle. Maybe it'll work. Good luck!!!

Fold two pieces into quarters and then two folds 1" in on each side and in the middle the opposite way. With the remaining piece fold it lengthways across the middle then as the others. The two smaller pieces place apart with the longer piece on top and each cross piece about 2 1/2" in from the end. That should do it if the book is laid lengthways along the bridge.

Fold the papers over a couple of times, then roll them into tight little, hard cylinders and tape them. That should support a book. Good luck.

just place the papers on top of each other... she didn't say how tall it had to be... or roll them into balls and tape them together side by side...

stack the papers together!.. if you can tape them the better...
