Please take this as a food for thought question, don't burst out into argument whatever.
Heaven is often considered eternally happiness but what is happy about being in Heaven? Are you gonna enjoying floating around with cloud? Or what will you be doing there that make you so happy? Being with God makes you happy? How? What are you going to do with God? Hanging out? Chatting?

Heaven is happy because people will be relieved due to the fact that they did not go to hell. There are also no insecurities - for example - about death, sickness, feeding yourself, having a good job, making friends, or having a family when you are already in heaven.

LOL

I know exactly where you're coming from. I have always thought the same thing...who wants to float around on a cloud all day? I always thought the best part of being alive was the struggle and the overcoming of obstacles along the way, so, hmm...no obstacles, no fun, no drive, no lust (pardon the expression) for life.

Well...that was until I had a peak experience after a long period of suffering in my life. One day I awoke to the presence of The Great All. It was wild. I had never felt like that; not even close. It lasted for several days, during which I had all kinds of revelations. To this day, although I'm back in my normal state of consciousness, I can still feel it by remembering what it was like.

Anyway, if Heaven feels anything like that state of consciousness, I want to go. I think what's really more possible, though, is that we evolve from this level of consciousness to the next, and I simply touched on that briefly in this lifetime. One of the revelations that I had during that experience was that there was not some guy called God who wanted to pat me on the head and feed me ambrosia from a silver spoon while I reclined on a cloud. What was revealed, rather, was that everything is connected, divine, and more perfect and beautiful than we can even imagine.

I just wanted to answer the "being with God makes you happy?" part because it's more like seeing the godliness of everything and awakening to that state of bliss indeed could make you eternally happy beyond your wildest imagination.

And no, I'm not crazy. LOL I had that experience in 1993, and I've been hopelessly sane since.

Simple really, if one believes in Heaven and Hell, Heaven is beyond happy because it is NOT Hell. See what I mean? And yes, I must add that I do believe being in the presence of God is enough to make one eternally happy. How or why that can be, I cannot say because that is is one of life's great mysteries that we can merely ponder while still earthbound.

Heaven is utter perfection. So it goes. In Heaven you are in the presence of God and everything is just RIGHT. So it goes.

No human can possibly describe Heaven in full; we simply lack the words to describe it. So it goes.

Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all people will be resurrected. After we are resurrected, we will stand before the Lord to be judged according to our desires and actions. Each of us will accordingly receive an eternal dwelling place in a specific kingdom of glory.

Those in His kingdom will dwell forever in the presence of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. This should be your goal: to inherit celestial glory (eternal life) and to help others receive that great blessing as well. Such a goal is not achieved in one attempt; it is the result of a lifetime of righteousness and constancy of purpose.

Eternal life is the phrase used in scripture to define the quality of life that our Eternal Father lives. The Lord declared, "This is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." Immortality is to live forever as a resurrected being. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, everyone will receive this gift. Eternal life, or exaltation, is to live in God's presence and to continue as families. Like immortality, this gift is made possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. However, to inherit eternal life requires our "obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel"

Really depends on the religion whether or not there is a heaven and if so whether or not it is a happy one. I guess it just makes it so much easier to accept death.
