I have absolutely no idea what standards Republicans purport to apply to their elected officials but Democrats do not hold false accusations, unproven allegations, media exaggerations or being gay against their office holders.
If I were you I would concentrate on trying to determine what it is that Republicans actually stand for and why so many of their party are being exposed as closeted, disturbed, morality-spouting phonies and hypocrites.
