I think a good hug is important and NO tapping on the back during contact!

Okay, I believe hugs are verrrry important too...so as the hugger -- I give the hugs that I feel like I'd want in the "huggies" place. So it all depends on the situation of why I am hugging them. But I think tight squeezes with mild back rubbing is the best. It really makes you feel loved and cared for.

Yes I love to give good hugs and know that I do. It will depend on the person. If it is someone I love, I just absolutely love hugging them and its something that can be felt forever because of the warmth and love during the moment when we're hugging.

What about patting on the back of the head? Just kidding. Yes, I give good hugs when I'm in the mood to. I'm very empathic at those times and am able to give the person the type of hug they require.

I give great hugs!
I love getting hugs from family and friends --
Not so much from strangers though.
My youngest calls me his "Cuddle Wuddle Mommy"
and
I call him my "Cuddle Wuddle Bug"
I think hugs convey so much that words cannot.
I sometimes rub backs during a hug, but it is a comfort thing and not a time to release me thing.

Last night I went to a high school football game with my friends. They know I hate getting hugs so they asked random girls to hug me. About 7 of them listened to my friend and pretty much jumped on me. I can't complain about most of the girls getting close to me though...
