please explain, thank you!

Killing them is one thing,
But I just want to vanish them.
In my ears they loudly ring,
No longer am I a decent gem.

Eyes a bright, cherry red,
I’m full of complete disasters.
Wishing they weren’t dead,
But to the dead, they are masters.

Confusion is my new form,
One they have created for me.
Completely out of the norm,
But they won’t let me easily flee.

If that was your intent, it wasn't as successful as it might have been. If it was about "seeing" dead people, why would you say "killing them is one thing"? They are already dead, so if you use the word "kill", you're inplying that "you" were their murderer...was that your intent? Is this about a murderer who sees their victims? if so, it's not just about "seeing dead people". Also, why would you "not" be a "decent gem" just because you saw dead people? You use the phrase "eyes a bright, cherry red"...whose eyes? yours or theirs? And if you see dead people, why are those you see "masters to the dead"? Again, it creates confusion in the mind of the reader, and it seems as though you're talking about someone or something else...not about the ability to see dead people.

I hope this helps

Sorry, I can't help you with that one, because that is not what I see in this poem. You never know how another person is going to interpret the meaning of another poets work.
I see someone who has been given the biggest let down they have ever had, and it's not fun. Their thoughts about themselves, have been altered by they way they have been treated, and maybe the discovery that not everyone in the world thinks this person is special comes as a surprise, and they won't forget the lesson; their dreams are dead. So, now it's time to build up a new self image? Maybe this, but no, not ghosts or dead people.

yeah i think i understand it

line
1 killing them is one thing, as in the writer would like to get rid of them but is more concerned with the other issues that revolve around them
2author just wants them to go away
3he can't get the sounds they make out of his ears
4this one i'm not sure, i had to guess; i interpreted the decent gem as normal, so that it would read no longer am i normal
5this is just describing the eyes
6he's scared, and mentally confused, uncertain of anything
7meaning wishing they were alive, so they wouldn't torment the author
8i thought this was kind of a redundant line,
9his new persona is that of a confused person
10that which the ghost caused
11self explainatory
12they wont leave him alone

I guess it could be if you really "read into it". You can come up with all kinds of parallels to "seeing dead people" in this poem. Like...."eyes a bright, cherry red". Or "killing them is one thing, I just want to vanish them".

I guess it's all in the way you interpret it.

I don't think it's necessarily about "seeing" the dead. It sounds to me like the insane thoughts of a murderer, who is racked with guilt over the murders he has committed. He seems to be suggesting that he feels haunted, and wishes he could erase his memories of his deeds as easily as he erased the lives of his victims.

Thats just my take on it anyway. I could be completely wrong, as poetry is extremely objective.
