If you have only one angelfish and an amazon sword plant with eggs on it, I'd guess that the eggs on the plant are probably snail eggs. If you don't want a snail outbreak you'd better get rid of those eggs! It's quite common for snails to sneak into aquariums on plants by means of eggs laid on the plant leaves or stems. Unlike fish, snails can reproduce with just one, so once you have a snail, you're gonna have more! It's easier to keep them out than to get them out once you have them.

Yes, a single female angelfish can lay eggs. This is a natural response since her body will keep on developing eggs and without a mate she has to have a way of disposing the eggs, hence she lays her eggs. These eggs are infertile and will not hatch, if you want to breed her, I suggest buy a male of the same variety and of the same size as she is and add him to the tank, if they like each other then they will mate and breed.

Of course she could lay eggs, but there will be no male to fertilize them. You do realize that angelfish are social, schooling fish and are best kept in groups of 4-7 right?

yes a lone angel can lay eggs, its quite natural for a female angel to produce eggs inside herself in anticipation of meeting a male but some times this doesn't happen but she is still stimulated to lay the eggs. the eggs if fertile will be a golden color but as these have not been fertilized they will turn white and then fuzzy with fungus. they should be removed to avoid polluting your tank.
if your interested in breeding your angel your half way there
