attempt McAffee or Kalepsky (do not be conscious of a thank you to spell the 2d). I heard Kalepsky replaced into tremendously sturdy and does not sluggish you down. I also have a 6 month HP w/Vista and Norton. I in no way word any substantial decelerate on my pc. Make that's the internet protection and not your pc beforehand you spend your difficult earned money.

Not for free you can't.
Using that old of software will require you to purchase the latest version.
Many times it will also require you to Un-Install previous versions before you download the New one.
If you decide to go with Norton be sure you Pay the Money and Keeep all the Virus Definitions Updated and you shouldn't nave any problems.

I can short of promise you that Norton will make you pay for an upgrade! That's how they make money....

But, if you don't want to pay for it or are just financially challenged like the rest of us. AVG 7.5 is free, works with Vista, and actually does a great job.
