Are there any bands similar to their symphonic style?

Back in the day Procol Harum was the first rock band to use a symphonic sound to back their music. More recently there have been bands such as Glass Hammer, Apocalypse, and Par Lindh Project, who continue the traditions of the 70's symphonic style of rock. You may want to take a listen to these bands.
Renaissance, The Enid, Craft, and Flame Dream also utilize symphonic orchestration. Jon Lord of Deep Purple has done some solo symphonic rock concertos and suites. The more popular bands with a symphonic sound include; The Alan Parsons Project, Barclay James Harvest, Europe, Frank Zappa, Mike Olfield, The Mody Blues, Night Wish, and Joe Jackson has done some stuff as well.
Although not rock musicians, Alan Stivell's Celtic Symphony is based on the fusion of Rock and Symphonic music, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, primarily known as a musical theater artist, has composed an album of rock variations on a theme by Paganini.

I would recommend checking out some solo Steve Hackett... These days he alternates between progressive rock releases and classical music. Both are good.
