It depends on the park and ride. Some parks will allow you to take a purse on them, others will not. If it's a coaster, most parks will make you either wrap the handle across your chest, or they'll make you put them in a cubby in the ride's station or pay for a locker. If you end up leaving it in the cubby, the park employees are not responsible for anything that happens to the purse. Your best bet would be to either not take a purse, or throw everything into a fanny pack. I don't know of too many amusement parks that make guests take the fanny packs off. They're light and very convenient to wear, plus, you usually won't have to worry about losing it unless you take it off of your waist.

Well I go to Cedar Point every year and they don't like having purses on the ride because they can fall off or get tangled around the person. So what they do is before you get on a ride they have you put your bags and purses in bins that are color coded.

It depends on the ride, but as a rule, no. Its way to easy to lose them, and it can be a safety issue in some cases. Also a no no are sandals and slip on shoes, although some rides have an area to keep those for you.

It depends on the ride. I recommend that you wear a fanny pack and stick your wallet in it.
