There are no specs...just go to the parts store and tell them you need a new one>

There are no specs. It's a "go/no-go" item. If you have an error code for the CPS, get it checked by a mechanic. It could be the sensor, but could also be the wiring. Changing parts without troubleshooting the root cause can be a waste of money.
