I am running Mac OSX and there are couple programs I want using an exe format. I am wondering if there is a way to convert it to dmg format.

To use EXE files on a Mac you need a Windows emulator or your need to re-compile the raw C++ code into Mac format.

No, exe format are exclusive to DOS or Microsoft Operating System Commands. and will not work on OSX.
Your only choice is to check and see if there is a OSX vesion of the software available. Many of the programs out there DO NOT OFFER OSX versions.

I don't believe you can. exe files are PC execution files, dmg (disk image) files are Mac.
