Bunnies and rabbits live in what are known as 'clutches as youngsters then go off their own; seeking their own mates to reproduce.

I would advise keeping your Little guy alone.

If you add other rabbits; they will reproduce.

If you do get another rabbit; you would have to separate them anyway; unless they were both females; because Male rabbits can fight for territory and female and male cannot be kept in same cage unless you intend to breed rabbits for show or pets.

As long as you are able to spend a lot of time with your bun, and frequently let him out of his hutch into a safe run to explore, he will be completely happy in his hutch. Rabbits are very social animals, and they will strongly bond with other rabbits given time (pet rabbits should be spayed/neutered if you do not want baby bunnies everywhere!) But he will be perfectly happy if he has you to be buddies with! You'll want to place a hideaway within the hutch for him to retreat to when he gets scared, and give him a lot of attention. Don't feel bad about him being "on his own," as long as you are taking care of him and not leaving him to a lifetime of neglect.

That's fine. Rabbits are territorial anyway and like their own space. However, they do do fine with a neighbor bunny in a cage next to them, although they don't absolutely need a companion if they're getting enough attention from their human caretaker.

my rabbit lives on his own and he is fine, some rabbits wont accept another.

As long as he gets plenty of attention and toys to play with, alot of people say its cruel but i dont think it is in my experience.

My friend kept her rabbit on her own and shes lived a happy long life shes quite old and still bouncing around.
