I don't know about Sean Hannitty's point of view. But Craig was in the legislature and must have been aware that he had options. 2 clearly come to mind. If he was innocent, prove his innocence. If he was guilty, cop a plea on a lesser charge. If it were me and I was innocent, there's no way I would cop a plea. And just try and make it go away. Nor I would I later once it got out in the press, make a statement indicating it was a mistake. He has pretty much served himself up on the humiliation buffet for everyone to feast on at the cost of his political career. But that's just me.

Strange how someone wants to use the defense of a set up to get them off the hook. Apparently someone is not willing to let people get healthy. Set ups are for who? What is a setup but a glove catching innocent victims before they make a fateful decision to go forward into an unknown trafficking area or in some cases, a known trafficking area. When anyone weather private or public figurehead claims to not know where they are going and for what reason they are there. I would be suspicious. because there is a reason and finding that reason does not constitute a cause to call it a witch hunt. If anyone resembles a witch hunter it would have to be the bill collectors and the I R S. I think Craig knew where he was and why he was there and what he intended to do. it does get embarrassing to be caught and thats what this is all about, how he has chosen to handle the embarrassment and still keep his posture and support from his wife and peers.Let the man feel his shame, if there remains shame while in his political clothes facing the people as someone who can be trusted to do the right thing. We trusted the priests too. I think it's time to strip bear the as*** we have been given to bear for too long.

Craig's prior actions state otherwise unless Misread by others.
See 1990s incident onward to Today or Earlier.

Craig case:
1. His prior sexual actions pre airport event.
2. Conspiracy.
3. ALL true with #1.

If Craig was set up, or if he was simply trolling for a toilet 'trick', isn't the issue. He's a member of the United States Congress, and - as such - is expected to hold to a higher standard than the 'commoners' that he professes to serve.
This is just more proof than our 'honorable' public servants are nothing more than a privileges private club full of pedophiles, homosexuals, cross dressers, adulterers, wife beaters, drug abusers, prescription-pill poppers, rapists, alcoholics, perverts, gambling addicts, and other assorted deviants - maybe even a murderer or two. These people are cretins living the good life, and enjoying their personal predilections, thanks to the generosity and gullibility of the United States taxpayers. May God damn them all. -RKO- 09/01/07

Of course the Right Wing mouths like Sean will claim that the senator was set up. Why was the senator at this airport and this restroom?

Hannity's a right wing shill. The cops caught him red handed.

The suspicions of Craig have been there for years. It just happened that it came to a head just now because he committed a provable crime finally. He has only himself to blame.

It just might have been an opportunistic entrapment; but even it it were, Craig picked that particular washroom of his own accord.

Too late for him to cry "entrapment" now. Why did he plead guilty? He probably thought he could get away with it again!
