I added families and people to the neighborhood, and I wanna redo everything to the way it was when I first got the game.

There are two ways you can start your game over.

You can either do a fresh install. Just uninstall your game, then install it again. You'll lose everything unless you save your information to a disk.

The other way is, instead of uninstalling the game, just go to the game's directory, find the folder that contains the various neighborhoods, and delete the neighborhood files. Once you do that, it'll take a while to load the game, but all your files will be deleted, and the game will be forced to "reinstall" the neighborhood back to its original form.

For more information, check out the official sims2.com. The forums there are full of tons of information. Good luck!

Go to My Documents>EA Games and rename the folder that is labled The Sims 2.

Start the game. The game will create a new The Sims 2 folder with clean neighborhoods just like when you first got the game.

Copy your downloads from your old folder into the new folder if you want to save them.

You can either Re-Install the game -OR- you can delete all the houses you've made in all the neighboor hoods. If you delete the house and theres people living inside of it they end up in the Family bin so you might wanna delete then there too. Dont delete the ones that you already had in the begining of the game. Like the Goths Brokes or the Pleasants. Have Fun.
