Some yes, some no. The scools in this metropolitan area are mostly on the "school year-round" plan. Some of them are on a 6 week "break", some are in session.
Some of the districts still use the "9 months in session, 3
months summer vacation" system. They started the day after Labor Day.

We live in NE Ohio, The Cleveland Metropolitan area. Schools started this past week.
Schools are currently assessing whether to start later.

No, I truly have not started college yet. My college starts the following day. i think of, counting on whilst your college enable's out for summer season, your college starts the two later or formerly. as an occasion, I lived in Wisconsin for a volume of time, and school on no account began till after hard paintings Day. yet we did no longer enable loose for summer season till the midsection of June. on the different hand, in Texas, college starts off in late August and ends on the top of could.

Not back in college yet, thank God, I start the 5th of September. I can't wait because I'm working out 5 days a week this semester.

Hi Mike in R.I.~ I use to live there!!!! I have been out of school for ages, but when we began school....we never began until the middle of September ~leaving my birthday 8/28 alone...now everyone seems to begine earlier.

We started back on August 22, 2007. Well my son did the whole district started on the 20th. Kindergarten in our town starts later. Colorado is back in session!:)
