GWB has not spearheaded any landmark legislation that will add to his legacy. He will not benefit from a positive bounce over time, as did Truman.
At the end of his term, Truman was America's most unpopular president up to his time and considered a failed president because of Korea. Truman, however, desegregated the armed forces and gave equal rights to blacks within the US government. This move gave Truman a bounce over time.
Unless Iraq ends in some positive way, Bush will continue in time as a failed president.

None... The only one that came close to being beneficial was No Child Left Behind, it works in theory, but not in application.

The DHS is the biggest monetary black hole in United States history.... NO ONE has a clue where the money goes.

Bush originally opposed DHS and then appointed incompetents to important positions. No Child Left Behind is a failure. The No Call List was worthwhile.

Other than that Bush has done zero for the benefit of the American people and he has done a great deal of harm.

All the money redirected from taxes and spending that benefit the wealthy will trickle back down to create jobs for the working classes .

The rich will buy more estates that will need construction workers , engineers ,architects , people to provide materials and the transportation of goods to the job site and after its finished more jobs like maids and cooks and a small staff to care for the property .
They will purchase expensive auto's paintings furniture and thus create hundreds of jobs for those people who would otherwise not have any work if it were not for the rich .

SO lots of jobs are created when the rich get richer .

No child left behind has left millions of children behind. This program is just one more form of Hypocrisy of The President. Bush has signed No legislation to benifet the United States, other than his "base". (millionaires, industrialists, captains of industry). He has signed much legislation to destroy America, and the earth. He is the ultimate anti-humanist.

None.

You can't be serious about the Department of Homeland Insecurity? They cannot secure our borders, ports, air space. They will not enforce the laws on the books relating to illegal aliens, for that matter they don't know where or how many illegals are in this country.

State education budgets are in very bad shape these days as declining tax revenues have forced many governors and legislatures to make deep cuts in many important programs

No Child left behide is a mess...read up on it.

I never understood why regular American's can not choose which schools their children can attend and are assigned to one.
