I am looking for a quality installer to convert my existing unleaded gas Motorhome, so it will run on Propane instead. This will not only help the enviroment, but I can recieve a tax credit equal to 50% of the cost ($750.00) to install ($1500.00).

And the cool thing , besides saving the environment , is the engine runs cooler and uses 30-45% more fuel to achieve the same results. Also takes 2x`s the space for the same fuel volume, and weighs almost 2.4 times as much for the tanks. I have been doing installs and inspections/surveys since they started this in the mid 80`s. I`ve benn licenced over 20 years and have not found any company that has not recovered the initial install. But the lack of power and rising cost as well as the comparative mpg does not equal any savings. If you have a motor home you will find that if you had any problems climbing hills on your trips before, expect to barelly get over the hill with propane. Now if you are willing to have the engine rebuilt to a higher compression ratio ie: 12-1 or 14-1 then the propane will out perform the old gas motor. If you do the conversion call your local propane supplier and ask them about a conversion facility. btw: an old friend of mine still runs at the track with a 460 ford ltd with 13-1 comp on propane , and runs in the low 11`s. Unleaded motors do not have the compression to utilize the benifits of propane or natural gas . There is also the availability issue in your area.
But I do like your attitude about the environment , Wish more people were willing to at least try.

Nearly all major LP gas suppliers can and will do the conversion. It will get some less mileage on LP, but modern systems( at least those made since 1978) won't cause a power loss.

I would check first with a dealer who services both types of vehicles (gas and propane) and second a supplier of propane and propane fixtures.
