There are white big mushrooms on my lawn every year.How to kill them?

mushrooms indicate decaying plant material. there are probably roots from a dead tree or other large plant that are still decomposing. lime will help raise the pH and eliminate them, but i wouldn't worry about them. just mow over them and eventually the roots will be completely decomposed and your troubles will go away. :)

You can't and even if you could you shouldn't. They're good sign your soil is healthy. What you see, the mushroom, is the fruiting body and only the tip of the iceberg. 95% lives deep underground were you can't get to. Some even form symbiotic relationships with plants and trees nearby, sharing water and nutrients. If you don't like the look of them you can pick'm, kick'm, mow'm or leav'm they'll be gone in a couple days and won't be back until this time next year. RScott

they will be there until the wood underground is gone, decomposed and they have nothing left to feed on....there's either tree roots or an old stump under your grass.... for now, just thump 'em with a nine iron or a putter to get them out of the way of the kiddies and pets.............dry weather will slow'em down, too....
