Well, I've added three new electrical circuits for Christmas lights. Some of the shopping is done. We're beginning to make some gifts for Christmas and I've already pulled the Christmas music out and have been listening. I guess I'm in the spirit.

I have been getting ready for christmas since July. I am knitting funky socks for everyone this year so it is taking me a while as I have a large family. So far I have made 9 pairs of socks and 1 baby vest. I plan it in advance so I don't have to rush around like a headless chicken on Christmas Eve!!

As a matter of fact, I have already completed my Christmas shopping! I start shopping with the after-Christmas sales and keep my eyes open for gift ideas all year long. This year I just happened to find everything I needed before the end of August. I'm now looking into great recipes to fill my house with Christmas aroma and my friends bellies with sweet goodness.

well i love Xmas, and i go on my summer hols in a fortnight, and when i come home i start to look forward to Xmas. its the only thing there is to take my mind of the fact that there is no sunshine till next year!!but apart from that i love all the glittery atmosphere that Xmas brings, I'm sorry if that offends the people who see it as a religious time only, but cant help it.

Because I am permanently on a tight budget, I buy Christmas pressies all year round, so it doesn't hurt too much in December!

All my kids come home for christmas, with their own kids, and it is absolute chaos, but it's wonderful. This year we are also going to the wedding of a close friend just after Christmas, so it will be lovely and romantic too!

I've acknowledged that people voted for best answers are the worst suck up answers in the world. Oh, YES I love Christmas, I've been working on my display since March. How bloody pathetic. Christmas is December, in order to feel the magic we don't start in September. I've written all my Christmas cards, and my postcards for next years summer holiday. Makes me sick.

Nope. Not in our house. We don't do much about Christmas except maybe get a tree around the 23rd and have a big roast and a piss up on the day. No prezzies or cards or any of that sh*t though, It's just a load of commercial crap which I refuse to be influenced by.

In fact the only thing I really like about Christmas is pigs in blankets...
