It's common to go to a different school for your graduate work. You should spend some time thoroughly researching different programs and figuring out what you want to focus on and what type of program you want to be in. Try talking to your advisor or to professors you admire. Also, realize that you do not have to go to graduate school immediately after undergrad.

Yes - in fact, most schools will insist that you go somewhere else. It doesn't look good to stay in the same place for all 6-10 years - it looks like you either can't get into any other schools, or you don't want a different point of view.

You most certainly can switch schools! You just have to go through the application process and see if you get in! I did my undergrad at Western Connecticut State University and am now doing my grad degree at University of Hartford. My roommate from undergrad at WCSU did her graduate degree at Columbia University. Of course you can go to a different school for a graduate degree!

It's probably more common than not to switch schools for your graduate degree. One reason is that a lot of colleges don't even offer graduate degrees.

Yes they allow that. You should get your graduate degree from the school that has the best program (with good internships) for what you want to do.
