I have a netgear DG834GT when I use my PSP to connect to my Wi-Fi network it says Something about a DNS server or connection timed out what can I do.

Could be a firewall issue or a KeyCode encryption issue. Check your router to make sure you have the right keycode and that you are not blocking other wifi connections.

Do you have a wireless adapter on your PSP or are you using a wired connection?
Also, check the router's settings - you may have to enable a "gaming mode" function, or try setting a static IP address on the PSP and putting that LAN IP address into the DMZ to put it outside the firewall.

try to unplug your router from the power outlet for 2 min - then try it again.
