Well Ompelle, I can't say that I blame her. You should know being a mother of a two year old, that they aren't ready for those gourmet toast toppings yet. I think you did the right thing by not chasing after her. It could have made the problem much more severe. I frequent the IHOP where Enid works. Please trust me when I say that Enid has no intentions of being her mother. Enid is a kind lady and will tell you her life story. She actually got out of prison a year and a half ago for child molestation. She spent 7 years there and said she never wanted to go back. So I think your family is safe. I would not take her car keys, otherwise you will have to take her to work. I would however take away her iPhone. She needs to know that she can't talk to you any way she wants. Please do the right thing and stock up on grape jelly. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

fact is, the lard and real butter are better for her than margarine( no trans fats in any of the real stuff). It will only clog her artieries if she is predisposed to high cholesteral and blocked arteries. I know plenty of "healthy" people who would rather slit thier throat than ingest any cholseteral and they suffer from high cholesterol. A couple of cups of coffee or tea a day is recommended by many doctors and the latest says it wards off Alzheimers and both are ant-ant-oxidants. The fact that she is eating fruits and veggies she grows herself means she gets plenty of exercise since gardening is hard work and she is eating little or no pesticides and other weird stuff which probably make s huge difference. You don't want insects crawling on her home grown produce? Do you think store bought never had a bug on it? I WOULD rather die than eat a 0 fat 0 salt sausage. That sounds disgusting. She is not eating as badly as you think she is. Back off and enjoy your nana and quit nagging. If her doctor is telling her she is in good health, why should she listen to you?

Okay, first of all i would like to say I am so sorry and I don't think that you should listen to those other people just trying to bring you down by saying your daughter is weird. The problem may be that you are giving her alittle to much freedom. I don't know that becuase you didn't say that you were. But since she just stormed out of the door I'm guessing that she feels she can do what she wants. So for tommrow, don't give up. You can give her a cerial breakfast and say your out of toast. If it gets so bad then you can sort of bribe her to eat it. In anyway you want. She will get used to it and eat. When she said she wanted a waitress as a mom make sure you don't dwell on it. Tell her it hurt your feeling. I remember when i was little and i saw my mom sad I would cry or just try to make it up.

No if she's of age to drive then there's no way in the world she should throw a fit like a child Tell her for now on you can make your own breakfast since you do not appreciate me making your breakfast for you and just leave it at that don't let her see your feelings hurt because she will continue to walk all over you let her know that you are the adult and she is the child and her behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in the future and walk out the room

If your 2 year old really has car keys and an Iphone then yes you should take them away. Then Child Protective services should come and get your child because you don't seem to be able to handle your child. I don't think this is a real post anyway so what does it matter.

Face the reality.
That is the 21st century behaviour of all kids.
Maybe you should take away her car keys and iphone and also her internet access and cable TV for a decade or so.

Oh, I was thinking of a 2 yr. old!!! Weird. Well, I guess you have to take something away, unless she was wise and kind enough to bring grape jelly back to the house.

when she gets back (assuming she wasn't drinking again) sit down and explain to her that toast-whore enid did 5yrs in the big house for pandering. at 2years old, she knows what it means. if that doesnt work, drive to ihop and kick enid in the grapes.
then get f**ked up.
