I have a Canon Ftb SLR 35mm with all sorts of lenses/attachments that I bought at the Navy exchange in Yokohama, Japan back in 1971. I need to get it serviced (never have) because too often when I advance the film (by hand!) the shutter releases. I had that old camera in Antarctica when we were going up Mt. Erebus with a survey team. I had it on a tripod and it slipped and rolled many feet down the volcano slope. The dents are still there on the view finder. It was stolen once and the person who stole it got busted one rank, got fined $250 for 2 months, and was restricted to base/barracks with no liberty time for 30 days with 30 days extra duty 'awarded' (had to work 2 hours after normal working hours every day for a month).

I have a little Minolta 35mm that a friend brought me back from Japan in the early 80's it still takes awesome pictures and puts a date on them--and yes it turned right over to 2000 when it happened. I bought a great and spendy Minolta digital that will do just about anything or do it on auto--ended up giving it to my daughter--way to dumb to get the right 'stuff' out of it. She does little vids and everything with it--it will even do black and white photos.

I have an old Kodak dual lens reflex, and my Dad's Argus SLR. The Kodak is oldest, and uses 620 film. I can't get flash bulbs for it anymore, so I went digital.

I don't have an old camera. I got rid of the oldest because it
no longer worked. My newest is a digital.
