you can try planting citrunella

The citronella plant is a species of geranium (Pelargonium citrosum), also known as a mosquito plant, or citrosa geranium. It contains a very high concentration of citronella oil, even more so than normal geraniums, and therefore is useful as a living mosquito repellant. It is sold in this capacity at stores in the United States and Canada. The citronella smell is strong enough to be noticed by humans simply standing nearby. Simply rubbing one's arms across the plant, without even picking leaves, is reputed to repel mosquitos for as long as 20 minutes

Try not to have any standing water. Of course, that's not always possible I know.

There are a number of aromatic herbs that repel mosquitoes, especially in the mint family.

And try to encourage lady bugs, dragon flies, and praying mantis to live in your area: All of these bugs eat mosquitoes and pretty much leave humans alone.

Good luck!

I have heard that if you grow Mint in a pot near front of your house or on a window sill, it will deter mozzies. Also a citronella candle or plant does the same.
