They're both organelles, which are the little parts of a cell that each have specific duties. Other examples are chloroplasts, lysosomes, the Golgi apparatus, etc.
You could also say that they're both organelles involved in protein production. The chromosomes carries the instructions for making proteins in its base sequence, whereas the ribosome is responsible for finding and connecting the correct amino acids in the order dictated by the mRNA.

Ribosome is on the rough endoplasmic recticulum (hence the rough) and chromosome is part of dna. Basically they are components of the human cell.

i dont think chromosome is considered under the common name organelle. if you are looking for anything in common between chromosome and ribosome, they both contain nucleic acids and structural proteins. they are cellular machineries important in protein production
